We are looking for an Operations Associate to work directly with the Finance & Operations Manager, providing hands-on support across the full breadth of business operations. This is a generalist role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants exposure to every aspect of scaling a B2B SaaS company. You will work across Operations, Finance, HR, Legal and Customer Operations - building processes, automating workflows, and helping the leadership team execute on growth priorities. There will also be involvement with special projects and direct access to senior management.
What You’ll Do
- Operations & Process
- Design, document, and improve operational processes across the business
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation using no-code/low-code tools and AI
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement
- Collect, analyse and report operational data to identify improvements and drive efficiency
- Finance
- Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Process invoices, expenses, and support month-end close
- Liaise with external accountants and bookkeepers
- HR
- Manage onboarding and off boarding workflows
- Maintain HR records and support payroll administration
- Help develop and implement people policies
- Legal & Compliance
- Manage contract lifecycle: drafting, review tracking, renewals
- Maintain compliance registers and documentation
- Support with ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance and its audit preparation
- Customer Operations
- Contribute to product documentation and internal knowledge bases
- Support customer onboarding and building scalable sales processes
- Assist with product testing
What We’re Looking For
- Experience
- 3-5 years in operations, business operations, or a generalist role in a high-growth environment
- Exposure to at least three of: operations, finance, HR, legal, product
- Experience at a B2B SaaS, marketplace, or technology companies preferred
- Worked with startups and/or has an entrepreneurial background
- Skills
- Adept with Microsoft Office, Xero and data analysis
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to increase productivity
- Ability to context-switch and prioritise competing demands
- Nice to have experience in automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar) and data or reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, dashboards)
- Attributes
