We are seeking a knowledgeable and commercially minded Product Specialist to support our Grass Care, Forest & Landscape category. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in outdoor power equipment and associated parts, combined with a customer-focused approach. You will act as a key advisor to customers, helping them select the right products while contributing to category performance through analysis and market insight.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers on Grass Care, Forest & Landscape products
- Respond to incoming customer enquiries, offering tailored solutions and recommendations
- Prepare quotations and support customers in product selection
- Assist customers in navigating and optimising use of the company webshop
- Monitor market trends, product developments, and pricing within the sector
- Produce and interpret sales analyses to support category growth and performance
- Maintain and develop product knowledge across a wide range of equipment and brands collaboratively with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs
Technical Expertise Required:
- Strong understanding of parts and components used in servicing, maintaining, and repairing outdoor power equipment, including handheld tools, ride-on machinery, and vehicle attachments
- Cross-brand knowledge of leading manufacturers (e.g. Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda) as well as familiarity with UK-based brands
- Awareness of consumables and accessory markets (e.g. trimmer line, chainsaw chain) including pricing and demand trends
- Ability to work with product data, content, and systems to align products with customer needs
