Hours: Full-time; 37.5 per week

Gonville & Caius College is seeking an outstanding individual to join its Development & Alumni Relations team as a Development Assistant. Working closely with the Database Manager and the Senior Development Associate you will be responsible for two key, interlinked elements:

  • Gift administration, including preparation of acknowledgement letters and assisting with consolidation and reporting of donations.
  • Data management support, including data capture, validation, hygiene, and reporting.

There is scope within the role to support the donor stewardship programme and gain experience in fundraising practices. You will possess excellent numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail. We are looking for an individual who is:

You will work collaboratively within the Development team and across relevant College departments (e.g. Finance Department). The Development Assistant role is a full-time position with option for flexible working. The ability and willingness to also adopt a flexible approach to working hours is desirable and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College.

The salary is in the region of £29,000 per annum.
