Role
In this newly created role reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a central role in supporting managers with employee relations case‑work, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters. You will ensure College procedures are applied fairly, consistently and in line with employment law and best practice. Working in partnership with managers across the College, you will provide expert advice and coaching throughout the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations and the use of data to identify trends and drive improvement. Your guidance will support confident decision‑making and contribute to inclusive, high‑performing teams. This is an opportunity to join the current HR team supporting a diverse workforce of around 250 staff, comprising HR Assistant, HR Administrator and Head of HR. The role will suit someone who enjoys working with autonomy in a complex environment, is comfortable handling sensitive and challenging situations, and is motivated by developing effective people‑management capability across the College.

Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest colleges in the University of Cambridge.
