Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced cleaner to join our team at two local schools in the LN6 area of Lincoln for specialist cleaning duties. Hours are Monday – Friday, 3.30pm – 5.30pm approximately during term times, working 3 days at one site and 2 at the other.
Equated pay available. Up to 4 weeks per year additional work out of term time, optional. Wages paid each month throughout the year – Equated Pay.

Job Purpose
To provide efficient and effective cleaning to the assigned workplace, ensuring that the cleanliness and general appearance of the building is maintained in accordance with the required standards and specific site requirements.
Responsibilities
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
- Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
- Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
- Dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing equipment, furniture, ledges, window sills and external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, mirrors, shelves and fitments in line with the cleaning schedule.
- Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) if required.
- Cleaning showers, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks.
- Using cleaning products as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Operate relevant equipment safely.
- Maintain tidy and organised work spaces and storage areas.
- Check equipment/machinery used and ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to.
- Work effectively in a team or on own.
- Keep a check on cleaning stock levels and report on low stock levels.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks required, such as checking off cleaning tasks on daily cleaning specification sheets and completing time sheets.
There may be additional duties not listed above. Variations may occur without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibilities. Significant changes may warrant a post re-evaluation.
