About the Role
As the Business Development Lead for Residential Flex, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnerships that drive the growth of our residential flexibility portfolio.
You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence by engaging with key stakeholders within energy retailers to integrate flexible residential assets into the grid ecosystem.
- Strategic Growth & Pipeline Management
- Proactively identify and originate new business opportunities within the residential flexibility sector targeting utilities.
- Build and manage a robust commercial pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities that align with company growth targets.
- Develop tailored value propositions to demonstrate the benefits of participating in residential demand-side response (DSR).
- Execution & Negotiation
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
- Work closely with legal and commercial teams to draft and finalize agreements, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Market Intelligence & Product Feedback
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics in the residential energy space.
- Translate market insights into actionable feedback for the Product and Engineering teams to influence the development of our residential flex offerings.
