Overview
In this role you will own Kraken Pro’s onboarding experience globally, guiding users from landing to their first trade. You will collaborate with Design, Data, Engineering, and Marketing to turn insights into shipped improvements. You’ll pinpoint where users struggle and optimize the path to trust and activation. You’ll leverage AI to surface friction, personalize the onboarding path, and accelerate the first trade. This role suits a growth-minded PM who loves crypto and shaping delightful trading experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the Kraken Pro onboarding experience end-to-end globally, from landing to first trade
- Continuously assess the funnel and drive UX improvements based on data
- Deeply understand the Pro customer and their first-days needs and motivations
- Identify friction points and high-leverage opportunities in onboarding using data
- Design onboarding experiences that build trust and guide users confidently
- Advance users to their first trade quickly and with conviction
- Collaborate with Design, Data, Engineering, and Marketing to ship improvements
- Leverage AI to visualize the funnel, predict drop-offs, and personalize onboarding and messaging
Key requirements
- 4+ years of product management with a track record in onboarding, activation, or growth-oriented UX
- Strong product sense for user experience, with an ability to simplify complex flows and build trust
- Excellent data fluency: define success metrics, analyze funnels, translate data into actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication to align stakeholders with narratives and numbers
- Customer-first mindset with curiosity about what excites users to trade
- Fluent in using AI tools to analyze data, personalize experiences, and speed up PM work
