Building the Future of Open Finance. Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
The Onchain Product team is building the next generation of financial products at Kraken, leveraging blockchain infrastructure to deliver faster, more transparent, and globally accessible financial services. The team sits at the intersection of crypto, DeFi, and traditional finance, owning products that enable customers to earn yield, access tokenized assets, interact with onchain protocols, and participate in the emerging onchain economy. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, Legal, and Partnerships, the team is responsible for identifying new opportunities, bringing innovative products to market, and helping position Kraken at the forefront of onchain finance.
