Contract: contract. Degree level: Recognised qualification in electrical or marine engineering. Language: English. Work experience: Hands-on electrical installation and fault-finding experience in marine environments.
The role covers join the production team installing, integrating, maintaining and testing electrical systems across Kraken's autonomous maritime platforms: carry out installation, modification, maintenance and repair, support vessel build, commissioning and test programmes, diagnose faults, run inspections and preventative maintenance, and work from electrical drawings and schematics with mechanical, engineering, operations and quality teams.
Requirements: Recognised qualification in electrical engineering, marine engineering or related; strong hands-on installation, maintenance and fault-finding skills; understanding of electrical systems, tools and standards; experience in marine engineering environments; strong diagnostic ability; able to interpret electrical drawings; high attention to detail.
Offer: Contract position at Kraken's Fareham production site, 40 hours a week.
