Where you'll fit in: Kraken is seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Manager to own and develop one of our largest Flexibility customer relationships across the UK, Europe and North America. The role is responsible for building trusted stakeholder relationships, coordinating priorities across Kraken teams and helping customers realise value from Kraken’s portfolio of Flexibility products and services across multiple markets. Working with one of Kraken’s most important and demanding Flexibility customers, you’ll need strong stakeholder management, prioritisation and communication skills. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable operating in ambiguity. A hands-on self-starter who can build trust with senior stakeholders, create clarity from complexity and drive progress in a fast-moving environment will thrive in this role. Experience of flexibility markets is highly advantageous. However, we also welcome exceptional candidates who can demonstrate strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and an ability to drive outcomes in complex environments.

What you’ll own:

  • Own the strategic Flexibility relationship with one of Kraken's largest customers across Residential Flex, GenFlex and emerging Flex propositions (i.e. Flex as a Service).
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between the customer and Kraken for Flexibility.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with executive, operational and technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a cross-functional leader, aligning priorities across Delivery, Product, Engineering and Customer Success.
  • Act as the customer advocate within Kraken whilst balancing the needs of the wider business.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of high-priority features, customer commitments and critical incidents so that you can communicate confidently with stakeholders and proactively drive delivery progress by ensuring risks, dependencies and blockers are actively managed.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to senior stakeholders during periods of change, growth and delivery challenges.
  • Challenge constructively and hold both customer and internal teams accountable for agreed outcomes.
  • Facilitate and evolve customer governance, including monthly product roadmap reviews, executive steering committees, QBRs and strategic planning sessions.
  • Prepare client reporting, account health and forecasting updates.
  • Lead commercial discussions where required.
  • Ensure customers achieve meaningful outcomes and realise value from Kraken's Flexibility products and services.
