Our client, a global Investment Banking in London executing Mid‑cap transactions across the UK and Europe, is looking to grow their team. You'll shape cross‑border mandates blending buy‑side and sell‑side, targeting UK and European disruptors in Technology, Software, and Consumer.
Key Responsibilities
- Build financial models (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) and run valuation analyses (comps, precedents).
- Prepare pitch books, CIMs, and teasers; coordinate due diligence with legal, tax, and commercial advisors.
- Manage deal processes: buyer outreach, NDA management, auction dynamics, and closing coordination.
- Conduct market mapping, sector research, and competitive intelligence for client mandates.
- Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and strategic advisory.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2–6 years in investment banking or M&A boutique.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Economics, or Business; CFA Level 1 progress a plus.
- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint; proficiency in Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet.
- Fluency in English and ideally any other European language; strong analytical and communication skills.
- Tech/Software sector background a plus—or at minimum, genuine interest required.
