Due to continued growth my client is looking for an individual to train and become a Technician (in training) to join their engineering team. They specialise in the design, build, installation and service of refuelling infrastructure and are growing year on year. Their ideal candidate will have previous hands-on engineering experience within an installation, fitter, service, technician or similar role.
Trainee Technician role: Should you be successful in securing the role as my clients Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Building, installing and servicing refuelling infrastructure at client sites
- Workshop and field based
- Maintaining the functioning of all components of the refuelling station
- Improving the overall performance of any required equipment and component parts
- Deliver detailed reports on each of the stations and planning for the next service visit
- Ordering replacement parts in advance for each refuelling station
- Work as part of a team to deliver company projects, building of specific products and provide general support

Trainee Technician requirement:
- Previous hands-on engineering experience as an installation, fitter, service, technician or similar role.
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
- Workshop based with regular travel to customer sites.
- Ideally educated to a relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship would be advantageous.
- Educated to GCSE level Maths and English.
- Flexibility to support the on-call rota outside the normal hours of work.
Trainee Technician package:
- Starting base salary of £25.5k rising to £27k after 12 months.
- Paid overtime and on call rota duties.
