An opportunity for a Security Service Engineer is available with my client who is a well-established and respected Fire and Security business that designs, installs, services, and maintains fire, intruder alarms, CCTV, door entry, access control, and external security systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress their career within my client's expanding business.
Their ideal candidate will have experience or be familiar with a wide range of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and GUI equipment as well as being based in either Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, or North London areas.
Security Service Engineer role:Working as my client's Security Service Engineer, you will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for installing Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control Systems within domestic, retail, commercial, schools, and care homes throughout Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, London, Middlesex, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and Suffolk. You will also troubleshoot and fault find on these systems and, if the occasion arises, install electronic security systems at customers' premises. You will be required to complete all paperwork in accordance with the appropriate British Standard requirements and NSI.
Security Service Engineer requirements:- Proven Security Service experience.
- Networkable security systems and can demonstrate the basic requirements such as port forwarding, managing IP conflicts, and remote dial-in connections.
- The Security Service Engineers are on the Duty Engineers’ Roster one week in five weeks.
- You will be required to undergo security screening.
- Intruder: Eaton Range, Pyronix, AJAX, Honeywell – Galaxy, Texecom, Mobile Apps.
- CCTV: Hikvision IP / TVI, Concept Pro, Hanwha, AXIS, Pelco, DM, Adpro, Optex, RVR Solutions, IT Network literate.
- Access Control: ACT, Paxton Net 2 & 10, Hikvision, Salto.
- Door Entry: BPT, Paxton, Fermax, Videx - IP and Analogue.
- External Lighting: GJD.
- GUI: Hikvision Central, Cortech, Paxton.
- Monitoring: RedCARE, DualCom, ARC / RVR, GSM.
- Standards: NSI Awareness.
- Base salary £35K - £40K (OTE £45,000).
