A new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager is available with my client who are a leading manufacturer of pumps who deliver pump system / pump station projects for water treatment and waste water sites throughout the UK. Their ideal Project manager will have previous knowledge of overseeing and delivering complex pump system projects within CDM2015 regulations. Project Manager role: The successful Project Manager will report to the General Manager and be responsible for delivering pumps system projects within time and budget and CDM 2015 regulations. Responsible for: • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver pump station and pumping station infrastructure projects. • Prepare and maintain required CDM documentation (Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Construction Information, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Health and Safety Files. • Develop and manage project plans. • Coordinate design, procurement, manufacturing, and site installation activities • Conduct regular project reviews and site inspections to monitor progress and compliance • Support tendering processes • Support and develop the team through ongoing training and succession planning • Provide cost-effective solutions to meet the demand at a profit • Ensure that machinery, equipment, tooling and the working environment is available and properly managed & maintained • Complete/manage site surveys • Drive Continuous improvement Project Manager requirements: • Proven knowledge of CDM2015 with NEBOSH, APS or equivalent • Proven experience managing engineering or construction projects within water, infrastructure, or mechanical sectors. • Proven understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM) • Health and safety legislations • Abel to read and interpret engineering drawing and specs • SMSTS • CSCS • Blue Water Card • Thames Water Passport • MS Project or equivalent software • Full UK driving license • Travel and overnight stays. Project Manager package: Salary up to £65K. Company van provided.
