My client is looking for an experienced multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their engineering team. They are leading manufacturer of specialist products used globally. They are looking for an engineer to work day shift 7:30am – 4:30pm, with electrical, mechanical and PLC fault find experience, as well as experience of PPM and reactive maintenance on automated machinery and associated equipment. Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role: Reporting to the Lead Engineer the successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults. • Updating and monitoring of jobs, PM’s and stock on the Engineering system • Send updates weekly on works carried out. • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods. • Diagnosing breakdown problems. • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly. • Liaising with all departments, Suppliers, subcontractors and other engineering and production colleagues. • Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components. • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment. • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation. • Assist writing maintenance strategies with the Lead Maintenance Engineer. • Assist with the installation and commissioning of plant and equipment. • Attending Production/Engineering meeting where required. …
