My client is currently recruiting for a Production Assistant to join their business.

They are a leading manufacturer of specialist water treatment equipment used in a wide range of industries and sold throughout the UK.

Their ideal candidate will be able to read engineering drawings, bills of materials, and have previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment as well as being health & safety conscious.

Production Assistant role: Working hours are Mon–Thurs: 08:30–17:00 (1-hour lunch), Fri: 08:30–16:30 (30-minute lunch).

The successful Production Assistant will report to the Production Manager.

Assemble products from engineering drawings, Bills of Materials and work instructions.

Carry out quality inspections throughout the assembly process.

Complete production and testing records accurately.

Work to production schedules and agreed deadlines.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.

Support other Production Department activities when required.
