Are you an experienced and multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with PLC fault find experience, and looking for a long-term career with a leading manufacturer? If so, my client would be interested in you. Their ideal candidate will have both electrical qualification and proven PPM machinery maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Role: • Reactive and pre planned maintenance on all machinery. • Track and organise all PPM tasks. • Organise contractors and services of machines. • Control spare parts for machines. • Track and organise all service and contractor documentation. • Perform routing safety inspections. • Assist Production when required. • Be part of an Out of Hours Call Out route. • Assist in improvement Projects. • Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, site based. • The shifts will be on a staggered pattern between the team, changing each week with the earliest start time being 6am and the latest finish time being 6pm. Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements: • Electrical engineering or similar apprenticeship with relevant experience is essential • ONC/BTEC – HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical engineering • 17th / 18th edition qualified • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential • Good communicator with team skills • Sound knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC’s & HMI’s • Excellent analytical & fault finding / problem solving skills • Good knowledge of electric motors / pneumatics • Basic mechanical skills • Working within a multi skilled team • Experience of working in a Safety-First culture • Ability to work on one’s own and make necessary judgments Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Package: • Salary – £42k base + discretionary bonus scheme • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 27 days • Pension Scheme
