Due to my client's continued business growth, they are now offering a permanent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. My client is an internationally established solutions provider in wastewater treatment solutions. The role covers the UK and offers an attractive and competitive package.

Their ideal candidate will have proven experience securing and developing new business selling wastewater treatment or equipment, systems and solutions.

Working as the successful Sales Manager, you will be home based, report to the Sales Director and be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain and establish growth and profitability in the sales of wastewater treatment and equipment and systems within the UK.
  • Establish targets, forecasts, costs and sales/quotes.
  • Review sales, costs and expenses no less than monthly.
  • Develop 'Sales' related business through the development of new business and account management.
  • Arrange and attend sales calls to potential key Account Prospects/Customers.
  • Assist in the smooth process management of designs from initial contact with the Key Account Prospect/Customer to full proposal being submitted.
  • Prepare proposals and draft contracts.
  • Visit sites to collect water samples.
  • Work with the Technical, Engineering and Operations departments in the development of new trials and marketing new technologies.
  • Maintain a current database of existing and new Key Account Prospects/Customers.

Previous Technical Sales experience with wastewater treatment solutions is required. Educated to relevant engineering discipline (preferred not essential). Full UK driving license.

Salary circa £60k, company vehicle/car allowance, mobile phone and laptop, 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
