An opportunity for Electrical Controls Software Engineer is available with my client who are a leading manufacturer of automated machinery solutions. Their ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of automation systems and related technologies as well as experience of programming control systems with Siemens and Allen Bradley software.
The successful Controls Engineer will be responsible for:
- Software design, development, and implementation of control and automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve automation challenges.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control and automation systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technology.
- Assist with documentation activities.
- Travel occasionally for installations and software upgrades.
- Support colleagues and assist other departments when required.
- Adhere to HERMA standard working procedures and housekeeping guidelines.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of automation systems and related technologies.
- Preferably qualified to at least HNC level (or equivalent) in Electrical Design or Engineering.
- Ideally experienced with Siemens and Allen Bradley software platforms.
Package: Salary £35k - £45k, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension, Flexi scheme / 37.5-hour week, Career progression.
