A Field Service Engineer position is available with my client.
They are a leader of level and pressure measurement technology and offer solutions to industries as diverse as Offshore & Petrochemical; Chemical & Pharmaceutical; Food & Beverage; Power & Water, Waste Water & Environmental.
Their ideal candidate will have proven experience in level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing, and be based in Leicester, Peterborough or surrounding areas.
Field Service Engineer role
- Commissioning of new equipment.
- Servicing and maintenance of existing systems.
- Customer training on operation, calibration, and fault-finding procedures.
- Offer technical support remotely, advising customers via telephone on fault diagnosis and potential solutions, or arranging for an on-site visit where necessary.
- Share application-related experiences with the Sales Engineers to help resolve recurring challenges and improve customer solutions.
- Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of support offered to customers.
- Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- Occasional overnight stays when required.
Field Service Engineer requirement
- Proven experience within a field service role
- Previous experience in an engineering or electrical industry.
- Experience with level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing would be advantageous.
- Qualified to a relevant electrical engineering qualification.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Clear and effective collaboration with colleagues, both in-office and remotely (e. g., by phone or email).
- Accurately records and stores data related to activities and customer interactions.
- Full, clean driving licence required.
