An opportunity for an experienced electrical design engineer is available with my client who are leader in control panel solutions, supplying to a wide range of industries in the UK. My client is looking for an electrical design engineer with control panel design experience using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Electrical Design Engineer role: The successful Electrical Design Engineer will report the Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Drawing schematics of control panels, cabinets, harnesses as well as line replaceable units in electrical CAD system. Work in collaboration with production engineering to create the list of materials and component specifications. Selecting components and cables based on the requirements given and voltages. Complete multiple projects from the design phase all the way through to delivery Be involved and perform tasks under guidance from others during the tendering, design, manufacturing, FAT, installation, and commissioning activities of a project. Electrical Design Engineer requirement: Proven electrical control panel solutions design AutoCAD electrical software design experience Educated to a relevant engineering qualification Able to travel to customer sites when required Electrical Design Engineer package: Salary £35k – £45k DOE Pension 23 days holiday + bank hols Career progression
