An exciting new opportunity is available with my client who are a leading provider of automated / robotic solutions for the automotive industry. Their ideal candidate will be mechanical biased with electrical knowledge.
The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Service, test and commissioning of automated electrical / mechanical systems and equipment at customer sites in the UK and sometimes abroad.
- Achieve customer sign off acceptance within agreed time frames wherever possible.
- Document and report to internal engineering team throughout the test and commission process.
- Provide excellent customer training in line with expectations.
Requirements:
- Qualified ideally to HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with some electrical engineering knowledge.
- Automated plant installation and commissioning experience, ideally from within automotive or related industries.
