Job Purpose
The role of the Warehouse Team Leader is an integral part of the Telford Planning & Logistics team, ensuring day-to-day inbound, outbound and internal logistic activities are carried out according to Kraft Heinz Quality, Safety and Productivity standards. The Warehouse Team Leader is accountable for organising and leading the shift-based team. You will be responsible for workplace health and safety standards, efficient receipt, storage, delivery to line-side, and dispatch of goods during your shift.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Adherence to all health & safety requirements
- Take a proactive approach to health and safety requirements, standards and regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment in order to continually improve health & safety standards and housekeeping.
- Adherence to all FSQ requirements - maintain the hygiene and housekeeping standards in the warehouse area to the required site standards.
- Ensure all production lines are fully stocked and have enough stock to keep lines running to meet production requirements by moving materials across from the warehouse to the production lines.
- Ensure materials and ingredients delivered to production areas are up to required standards.
- Occasionally remove finished goods from end of lines, wrap finished goods, and move finished goods across to the warehouse.
- Remove all return stock from production and ensure stock is returned correctly on SAP system.
- Ensure team members follow the Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
- Ensure all documentation is completed to the required standards of accuracy and legibility.
- Ensure that all physical and system stock movements are accurate.
- Occasionally unload goods being delivered into the warehouse, complete corresponding documentation, and update SAP accordingly.
- Ensure all deliveries are put away in the racking the same day as delivery.
- Ensure all items are scanned into the racking system.
- Occasionally load and dispatch finished goods according to SOPs, working closely with Stock Deployment Manager to collect and communicate required information.
- Ensure any allergens delivered to site are identified and correctly labelled.
- Carry out absence management meetings as required.
- Carry out incident investigations when required.
- Support the implementation and standardisation of KHMS manufacturing supply chain pillar.
Physical requirements: Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence.
