Job Description
Location Kraft-Heinz Worcester
Pay £12.94 per hour, plus handover paid at 1.5x rate
Working hours 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

We are Kraft-Heinz Worcester – home of Lea & Perrins, the iconic Worcester Sauce and in production since 1837! You\’ll be joining a dynamic and multifaceted FMCG environment with the opportunity to make a real impact with the Food Safety & Quality of our Worcester site.
Role
The Worcester Site is looking for a multi-skilled person to join our buzzing team. This role will involve collaborating to deliver shift outputs in accordance with the daily plan and site goals, while adhering to prescribed quality and safety standards.

Key Components of the role
- Delivering shift outputs for the production area of responsibility, in line with the daily production plan with quality and safety at the forefront of your mind
- Taking ownership for safe operation of machine, as well as own personal safety – and the safety of colleagues
- Understand and deliver company and best practice quality standards
- Willing involvement in continuous improvement activity
- Utilise SAP and MII software to record data and ensures all production data is captured via appropriate methods (paper or electronically) accurately and with sufficient detail
- Carry out regular machine checks, maintains a record of all checks completed and call out faults appropriately
- Support problem solving to identify root causes; including detailed explanation of faults and also proposing and implementing solutions where appropriate
- Review ways of working and ensure standard operating procedures are up to date
- Maintain good communication with all team members; ensuring information is communicated effectively and concisely; present recommendations, plans and decisions in a clear, logical and concise manner
- Utilise the allotted time to carry out detailed handovers, ensuring all relevant information is requested and given
- Carry out all cleaning activities are completed in line with site standards and procedures (GMP, CIP, Allergen Controls)
- Take pride in maintaining the standards in and around own working area and any areas of allocated ownership
Skills & Requirements
- Literate and numerate
- Good communication with own team and other functions
- Confident with computers with SAP Knowledge or the ability to learn SAP
- Role involves standing all day and some manual work and lifting
- Ability to learn and takes responsibility for personal development
- Flexible attitude, attention to detail, ability to work on own as well as in a team
- Basic Food Hygiene training preferred
- FLT qualified (ideal, but not essential)
