Location: Kitt Green factory, Wigan
Role Summary: To work as part of a multi-disciplined shift team to maintain the assets within the Centre to optimise utilisation of the equipment and to deliver maximum volume at the right quality. Working closely with the Shift/Production Managers and technicians to provide a quick response to line breakdowns and to support asset improvement. To provide engineering and operational support to the Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance duties to support production, either planned or in support of breakdowns or commissioning.
- Will be trained to safely carry out work on equipment located in production areas across Kitt Green.
- Will be expected to use the SAP system to report work done and contribute to the overall effectiveness by assisting in planning.
- Will be expected to participate in training and to train others including apprentices.
- Will work to the highest engineering standards to fully support RU and product quality.
- Proactive and willing to challenge the status quo and initiate improvements.
Expected Experience and Required Skills:
- Qualified to HNC or equivalent level.
- Minimum 18th Edition Wiring Regs / PLC Experience.
- Flexible and enthusiastic outlook.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Detailed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SAP MMS.
