We have an excellent opportunity available for a talented Marketer to join and make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Senior Brand Manager position lies within the UKI business unit based in the Shard, London and is part of the Category team. You will be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level and you will have a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders as well as external agencies.

In this role, together with your team, you will be responsible to drive one of the top growing categories within our portfolio. You will be looking after the most exciting projects under the iconic Heinz brand, being responsible for the entire cycle from strategy to best-in-class in-market execution. You will get the chance to work on all aspects of the marketing mix across market-leading brands including end to end innovation and communication.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the consumer and leveraging consumer insights to drive brand equity through the delivery of communication and innovation projects.
  • Collaborating with Category Development, Sales, Finance, Consumer Insights, R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain etc.
  • Creating and delivering breakthrough innovation that will deliver strong results and build the brand in the future.
  • Project management of innovation and renovation projects in line with the long term strategy, in strong collaboration with the cross-category team for best on-time in class execution.
  • Owning the media plan & campaigns execution for your category, in strong collaboration with the rest of the category team, partnering with our agencies to drive outstanding work.
  • Working in partnership with the category team to ensure strong in market execution and commercial rigour to deliver results.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong and proven experience with consumer understanding: ability to understand a consumer insight, spot consumer needs, trends and market dynamics and generate answers for them.
  • Strong and proven experience in successful innovation projects from end-to-end (from idea to launch), with understanding of processes involving multiple functions and external partners.
  • Experience in communication plans: ability to project manage a comms plan from creative to media execution and to manage creative, PR and media agencies. Proven experience to deliver effective PR plan is a plus.
  • Strong commercial and P&L understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
