About the position:

Join the Mayo and Condiments Team as a Growth Platform Marketing Manager and shape the next chapter of growth across our mayo portfolio. The Growth Platform Marketing Manager leads the Mayo agenda across EPDM, with end-to-end accountability for strategy, innovation pipeline, growth priorities and key cross-functional initiatives, working closely with the brand team to bring innovations to consumers.

Location: London or Amsterdam

In brief, you are responsible for:

  • Lead the Mayo strategy and innovation agenda, including identifying consumer, market and category opportunities, challenging existing thinking and defining where to play to drive sustainable growth.
  • Own the short- and long-term Mayo innovation pipeline, prioritizing opportunities and translating consumer insights, business priorities and growth opportunities into clear innovation strategies, priorities and plans.
  • Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives from opportunity identification through development and launch, ensuring strong collaboration across Brand, R&D, Insights, Sales, Finance, and other relevant functions.
  • Partner closely with the brand team to translate innovation strategies and propositions into compelling campaign execution and consumer activation.
  • Drive core value engineering initiatives, balancing topline growth with profitability and bottom-line impact.
  • Manage and develop the Mayo Growth Manager, providing clear direction, coaching and challenge to build capacity and performance.
  • Own core business and innovation routines, driving clear decision making, pace, quality and follow-through across the innovation agenda.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in marketing, innovation or a related commercial discipline, preferably within Consumer Goods/FMCG.
  • Proven track record of identifying consumer opportunities and translating them into successful innovation strategies that drive brand and business growth.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to assess opportunities, develop compelling business cases and make clear choices on where to play and where to invest.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional innovation initiatives from opportunity identification and strategy through development, launch and post launch evaluation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, challenge constructively, and create alignment across functions.
  • Proactive, pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, with a strong bias towards action and learning.
