Role Summary
General Assistant Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality and safety of food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring and classifying all raw materials in preparation for production
- Measure, decant, mix, batch and cook ingredients to Variety Process Sheet requirements
- Control the temperature and automated processes for making products
- Monitor the food safety and quality of the product and record results during the production process to Master Process Sheet requirements
- Fill, cook and label the finished goods in preparation for shipment
- Clean the machinery and other parts of the production space
- Report machine faults and raise to supervision / maintenance as required
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a good hygienic state
- Comply with Golden Rules, KHMS and all 3rd party requirements
- Report concerns relating to product safety, authenticity, legality and quality
- Efficiently operating manufacturing machinery, monitoring safety and quality of all equipment and produce
- Identifying and reporting defects
- Proactively identifying ways to improve OEE
- Completing effective shift handovers
- Proactively solving ad-hoc problems with lines
- Working within our KHMS operating model
- Expected Experience and Required Skills
- FLT license preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to multitask in a busy production environment
- Technologically proficient
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Previous history of driving continuous improvement
