Analyst II - Procurement (B15)

Analyst II - Procurement (B15) to support strategic sourcing and purchasing activities across global procurement categories.

The role will be responsible for securing and analyzing quotations, negotiating pricing and commercial terms with U.

S. and international suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of fixed assets, materials, parts, tooling, equipment, and services.

The successful candidate will collaborate with global stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive value creation, supplier performance, cost optimization, and process excellence while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
  • Obtain, evaluate, and analyze supplier quotations for materials, equipment, tooling, fixed assets, and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and service agreements with suppliers, subject to management approval.
  • Support RFx activities, supplier selection, bid evaluations, and contract execution.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with category strategies and business requirements.
  • Supplier Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with U. S. and international suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, service, cost, innovation, and delivery.
  • Support supplier issue resolution and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in supplier qualification, onboarding, and risk assessment activities.
  • Commercial & Cost Management
  • Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities for savings, value engineering, and procurement efficiencies.
  • Track sourcing benefits and support realization of procurement savings targets.
  • Analyze market trends, commodity movements, and supply chain dynamics to support sourcing decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business stakeholders.
  • Provide procurement guidance and recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Support capital projects and procurement requirements across assigned categories.
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Kraft Heinz procurement policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and audit-ready records.
  • Support contract administration and supplier governance processes.
  • Process Improvement
  • Drive standardization and automation initiatives within procurement operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency, supplier collaboration, and reporting accuracy.
  • Support digital procurement tools and analytics-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional procurement certifications (CPSM, CIPS, ISM, or equivalent) are a plus.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
  • Experience negotiating with global suppliers and managing sourcing events.
  • Exposure to Capital Procurement, Direct Materials, Indirect Procurement, or Services categories preferred.
  • Experience in a global business services/shared services environment is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar procurement platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and procurement analytics/reporting skills.
