The Production Operations Trainer plays a crucial role in ensuring that our operational team functions efficiently, safely and adheres to the highest manufacturing standards. In this role, you will own the development, maintenance and coaching of training materials for operational teams and are also responsible for the delivery of classroom and "On the Job Training" for employees when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Trains employees utilising the job training documentation, working alongside subject matter experts to ensure that “hands on training” is performed in accordance with documented procedures, including employee inductions and onboarding.
- Leads the development of task instructions through colleague collaboration, and ensures the continuity of Standard Operating Procedures, Work instructions, Checklists, Skills Matrices and Manuals.
- Maintains full and accurate records, particularly the training database and Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS).
- Performs audits to evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes (including compliance to Kraft Heinz standard procedures), and collaborates with the HRBP: Growth and Performance to present key training requirements to Operational Leaders.
- Maintains up to date knowledge and understanding of production processes, production scheduling, regulatory requirements, quality standards, costs, delivery and safety.
- Evaluates entity readiness through the established Competency Assessment Process.
- Aids in the continuous improvement of the site safety and quality culture, including performing safety or quality audits, and reporting safety/quality concerns.
