About the position
This role is for a highly creative and connected Brand Lead to drive the EPDM zone's partnership and innovation strategy. This role will be responsible for leading large TTL campaigns on big bets, building the 3-year partnership roadmap, leading global iconic sponsorships, managing earned media and influencer strategy. This person is reporting into Julie Veryser, Sr Director Brand Building.
Responsibilities
- EPDM Strategy: building the partnership pipeline (vision board) and building the 3-year EU partnership roadmap (Taste, In-Home Entertainment, etc.).
- Global Lead: iconic & landmark partnerships (e.g. Project Red, Project Green, Project Spark), global sponsorship opportunities.
- Campaign Lead: Leading Modern Condiments & Pasta Sauces & Silver innovations.
- Earned & Influencer Lead: Owning the "Cultural Flywheel" i.e. turning partnerships into social conversation and earned talkability.
- Mentorship: People management and mentorship responsibilities within the team.
- Key KPI's: Sub-category innovation brand growth, campaign adoption and partnerships in pipeline to execution.
- Scope: across EPDM, with key markets of focus being UK & GAS.
- Stakeholder Management: Marketing Directors and Senior Brand Managers across EPDM, across EPDM Growth org including Innovation POD leads, being the agency lead on big bet campaigns.
- People Management: 1 direct report.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
- 10+ years of marketing experience in a global FMCG company, with a focus on brand equity, brand architecture, and multi-category brand management.
- Proven track record of defining brand identity and executing marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness.
- Strong understanding of how to generate cultural relevance and earned media from marketing initiatives.
- Strong experience in developing and launching marketing content for new product innovations.
- Ability to develop comprehensive brand guidelines and playbooks for consistent market activation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with integrated campaigns (TTL) across various media channels.
