We’re growing our design team and looking for a Junior/Trainee CAD Detailer.
You’ll support our design team with the production of accurate steel and TEKLA drawings, alongside detailed AutoCAD drawings. You’ll also work closely with our operations and project teams, supporting the delivery of projects from design through to site.
Your role will include:
- Producing accurate steel/TEKLA drawings and accurate cladding detailed AutoCAD drawings
- Producing DXF and NC files for workshop processing of steel
- Issuing drawing packs to workshop and site
- Upkeep of drawing office procedures including storage of engineering documents
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and professionals (architects, engineers, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Interpersonal skills to sustain effective relationships across our business both internally and externally
- The ability to manage own workload, process information and meet deadlines
