What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full lifecycle of bids, tenders, and proposals from qualified opportunity through to submission and contract award.
  • Develop tailored bid strategies that align with client needs and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure all bids comply with governance requirements, mitigate risks, and follow best practices.
  • Conduct post-submission analysis to capture lessons learned and improve future performance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, consultants, sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams to create winning submissions.
  • Coordinate bid teams across multiple industries and service lines, ensuring effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage engagement with external partners for joint bids or consortium responses.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including relevant external partners.
  • Develop persuasive and structured proposal content tailored to client specifications and evaluation criteria.
  • Write, edit, and refine high-quality responses that articulate complex solutions in a compelling way.
  • Build and maintain a library of pre-written content, case studies, and proposal assets to streamline future submissions.
  • Continuously assess and develop supporting tools such as AI in order to maximise efficiencies.
  • Maintain awareness of contract terms and commercial discussions to support the process.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, procurement regulations, and evolving best practices.

What You Need

  • Proven experience in bid management, tenders, or proposal writing within complex solution, consulting, professional services, or technology environments.
  • Strong track record of leading and winning high-value bids for B2C and B2B customers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Excellent project and stakeholder management abilities, able to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to recognise and capitalise on market opportunities.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, public-sector frameworks, and competitive tenders.
  • Proficiency in bid management tools, such as CRM, MS Office, presentation tools such as Miro, supporting AI tools.
