The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business on an initial 3-month contract with the option to be made permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced inspector or someone who has experience of inspecting their own work from an engineering manufacturing background to join a busy and fast-paced environment, playing a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before they reach the customer.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting manufactured components and finished products
- Carrying out visual, dimensional, and final inspections
- Using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
- Recording inspection results and completing quality documentation
- Identifying non-conformances and reporting quality issues
- Working closely with production and engineering teams
- Supporting continuous improvement within the quality department
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong experience using inspection and measuring equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A methodical and organised approach to work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience working to ISO standards (advantageous)
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial manufacturing (desirable)
