**Job Summary**
The Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and vendor management activities across the clinical development portfolio. This individual will serve as a critical interface between clinical operations, procurement, legal, and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of clinical programs. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing expertise, clinical trial knowledge, and cross-functional leadership to support global development efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**
– Develop and implement sourcing strategies for clinical research services across therapeutic areas and trial phases
– Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and governance processes for CROs, laboratories, and other external providers
– Manage preferred supplier relationships, performance metrics, and issue resolution to ensure delivery excellence
– Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, procurement, legal, finance, and quality teams
– Analyze sourcing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization strategies
– Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and global regulatory standards (GCP, ICH)
– Contribute to portfolio planning, budget forecasting, and risk management efforts
**Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field; MBA or advanced sourcing certification preferred
– Minimum of 8 years’ experience in clinical development sourcing or clinical operations in a global setting
– Strong knowledge of CRO/vendor landscape and clinical trial outsourcing models
– Proven experience in contract management, negotiations, and supplier governance
– Exceptional project management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Skills**
– Familiarity with eProcurement systems and vendor management platforms
– Ability to drive process improvements and cross-functional initiatives
– Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
– Experience supporting RFPs, MSAs, and risk-based sourcing strategies
