Kia ora koutou! Our New Zealand Financial Services consulting practice is hiring. We are a multicultural team that delivers excellence to a high-profile client base of bank and insurance clients across a full suite of services including transformation, technology, risk, and regulation. We have opportunities available in Auckland, New Zealand.

Responsibilities / Domains

  • Deep financial services and consulting experience in transformation including technology and business transformation covering functional areas or domains such as operating model, strategy, operational excellence, customer and operations, process mapping, business and personal banking innovation and growth.
  • Technology, core banking transformation, data governance, programme delivery, business analysis, change management.
  • Specialist areas such as financial crime, payments, open banking, product, actuarial (life and general).
  • Risk, regulation, controls, operational risk and remediation including customer outcomes.
  • Financial risk, prudential, treasury.

You will have deep experience in financial services and be excited about joining a consulting practice with a strong brand permission in FS based on a commitment to client outcomes, long-term relationships, and subject matter expertise.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong technical capabilities with deep financial services industry or regulator experience. Ideally 6+ years of relevant applied consulting and industry experience.
  • Excellent relationship-based business development skills, be well networked and build strong relationships.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with senior people in a fast-moving sector.
  • Ability to offer practical advice and execute strong delivery.
  • Deep expertise and a strong reputation in your field, and excitement about bringing that knowledge to a new market and expanding into new areas.
  • Good knowledge of best practice globally and locally, ability to think strategically and motivation to learn and connect to topical and future sector thinking.
  • Strong values and experience as a people leader who is motivated by the success of your team and delivering great client outcomes.
