The Role
We are recruiting a manager based in Canary Wharf, working as part of a wider London region team. You will help expand our tax governance services, support existing clients, attract new business, and develop client relationships.
The ideal candidate will build strong relationships, mentor junior staff, deliver excellent client service, and identify business opportunities. Overview
This role is within our Tax Governance & Risk Management Team at the CSQ office. We seek a talented Manager to support our growth in tax governance. The successful candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, supported by a strong leadership team.
You will manage a diverse client portfolio, including UK listed, PE-backed, multinational, inbound, and family-owned businesses.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand the firm\’s tax governance services, advising on:
- Identifying and managing global tax risks
- Building sustainable tax control frameworks
- Managing tax risks in transformation and technology projects
- Ensuring compliance with Senior Accounting Officer and Criminal Offense requirements
- Preparing HMRC risk reviews
- Developing and publishing tax strategies
- Meeting global transparency and ESG standards
- Communicating with HMRC on governance matters
You will also:
- Leverage tax technology for risk and compliance improvements
- Collaborate with UK and overseas specialists
- Mentor junior team members
- Manage team operations and resources
Requirements:
- Experience in tax governance projects
- Qualified ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent with tax expertise
