The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Consultant with experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. The role requires a hands-on approach, a solid understanding of finance processes and procedures, and knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A proven consultancy background is essential, as this role involves continuous interaction with clients and project teams, including both onshore and offshore development teams. Additionally, the role involves presales activities related to Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform, contributing to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff. This position is crucial for KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions' delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. Responsibilities

  • Participate in end-to-end implementations and all project lifecycle phases
  • Work with D365FO interfaces and integrations
  • Gather and document functional requirements; perform gap/fit analysis
  • Produce solution and integration design documents in collaboration with development teams
  • Manage scope (creep) and utilize change control processes
  • Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues
  • Provide on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
  • Stay informed about product roadmap and upcoming D365FO releases
  • Assist in responding to RFPs and RFQs
  • Resolve complex problems with innovative solutions
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and demonstrate additional capabilities
  • Engage in practice development activities
  • Promote company values and ensure timely completion of internal processes and training
  • Represent KPMG MBS professionally at all times

Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Experience in consulting with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to lead meetings and workshops; confidently present to C-Suite executives
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX2012, in modules such as Finance, SCM, Commerce, or HR
  • Experience with D365FO interfaces and integrations
  • Microsoft Dynamics certification in relevant modules, preferably current version
  • Beneficial experience with LCS and Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
  • Understanding of Power Platform and Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities is preferred
