KPMG's Legal Operations and Transformation Services (LOTS) team supports clients in optimising their legal functions to achieve operational excellence. There are 2 core service offerings within LOTS: a powered contracting practice, based on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology, and a legal operating model transformation service. As LOTS grows through new client wins, we are expanding our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to make a significant impact and shape this role.
We seek talented Assistant Managers to help grow our legal operating model transformation practice by managing and developing external client relationships and expanding our offerings. The successful candidate will gain experience throughout the lifecycle of transformation projects and in developing new offerings for KPMG. They will work closely with global LOTS teams and other KPMG services such as CIOA and People in Change. Our team focuses on legal technology and automation, working across diverse client sectors including mid-market, FTSE-listed companies, public sector, financial services, and FMCG.
- Provide subject matter expertise and industry insights during legal transformation projects.
- Support the development of go-to-market strategies, collateral, methodologies, and alliance partnerships.
- Lead workstreams within complex, multi-national client engagements involving multidisciplinary teams.
- Own and develop micro service offerings, guiding their strategic focus.
- Coordinate internal services (e.g., Procurement, Finance Transformation, CIO Advisory, Risk Consulting, Legal, People and Change) to deliver multidisciplinary solutions.
The role reports to the Head of Legal Operating Model Transformation. The primary goal is to assist in shaping and expanding service offerings and methodologies within the practice. As the team grows, the candidate will contribute to developing team members and fostering a positive culture. They will also support business development, marketing, and collateral creation to benefit the wider LOTS business both in the UK and globally.
Candidates should have a strong track record of engaging with and managing stakeholders across various seniorities, functions, and industries. They must manage both internal and external stakeholders independently during ongoing engagements and strategic activities.
This role supports the growth of LOTS and KPMG Law by developing practice offerings. The candidate must adhere to KPMG standards regarding risk and quality, ensuring high standards in their work and that of their team.
