The KPMG Deal Execution Advisory Team function is a cornerstone of our Deal Advisory business. Operating from London and Manchester, we do work that matters, serving the Country with diligence and expertise.

Within The Deal Execution Advisory Team function, we are a team full of subject matter experts, responsible for providing best in class support on everything from developing acquisition strategy and raising funds, through to making the deal and integrating the acquisition.

The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour. We are a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Deal Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. Our teams comprise specialists capable of helping clients right through from conceptual thinking of buying a business to turning their business around in times of difficulty.
What will you be doing?
- Build strong, trusted advisor relationships with client counterparts.
- Establish role as day to day / key client contact on engagements.
- Take day-to-day responsibility for smaller projects and manage significant elements of larger engagements.
- Demonstrate deep expertise and an ability to generate insights in a chosen sector.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of deliverables that span multiple workstreams.
- Develop the answers and challenges to the likely questions and responses of the client.
- Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management activities.
- Build and maintain a strong Strategy Group and internal KPMG network.
What will you need to do it?
- Demonstrable experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm, public sector organisation or strategy / development team in industry.
- Ability to manage small- / medium-sized teams or significant parts of complex projects or programmes.
- Experience of developing and preparing business development pitches.
- Ability to work effectively, influence and challenge senior people (client and internal) while working on a project or business development initiative.
Our Locations: We are open to talk to Deal Execution talent across the country but our core hubs for this role are: London Canary Wharf and Manchester. With 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.
