Job Summary

In this role you will work as part of the London Region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team based in Canary Wharf. You will support clients with tax advisory services including new jurisdiction entry, business re‐organisations, tax authority enquiries, pre‐/post‐transaction restructures, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact of global fiscal change (e.g., BEPS Pillar 2). The team operates a hybrid model, meeting in office or at client sites at least twice a week, with flexible work arrangements otherwise.

Responsibilities

  • Be market‐facing with allocated clients and target organisations, particularly in fast‐growth tech and entrepreneurial sectors.
  • Actively engage in new client acquisitions by collaborating with wider tax and non‐tax teams.
  • Manage and track target activities and business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with client service teams and colleagues in other tax disciplines, audit and accounting disciplines to deliver coordinated tax compliance services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify leads for new work.
  • Keep clients updated on corporate tax developments that may affect their businesses.
  • Engage stakeholders in the markets and introduce relevant specialists from across the firm.
  • Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality and service delivery.
  • Promote team and personal profile to internal networks to enhance collaboration and generate internal leads.
  • Participate in business development and proposal activities, including attending networking events within and outside KPMG.
  • Manage engagement quality, risk processes and client financial matters.
  • Serve as a role model for KPMG's values.
  • Manage teams, coach and develop staff.

  • Successful track record of new business origination within International Tax projects through both internal and external activities.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
  • Display strong technical skills in specialist tax markets.
