Summary of the RoleWe help financial services organisations â banks, insurance companies, FMIs, wealth and asset managers, and fintechs â to change and adapt to the environment in which they operate. This 12âmonth secondment / FTC covers maternity leave and focuses on leading Organisation Design workstreams on complex, businessâcritical programmes.
Responsibilities
Scope, price and design our approach for a particular client (with support from a Partner or Director), and then lead delivery of this work.
Lead/support business development and grow revenues from the existing work portfolio.
Use leadingâpractice problemâsolving methodologies to address client issues and structure projects.
Work and collaborate with colleagues from other service lines such as technology, finance, customer or analytics.
Lead highâquality analysis that combines KPMG expertise and market insight with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Act as a main client interface, providing effective, credible, and timely communications with clients.
Generate thought leadership, drive knowledge sharing and develop consulting skills within our team.
Develop the team culture, inspiring and empowering team members and supporting their career development.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Deep expertise in Organisational Design, including role definition, objectives & KPIs, ways of working, hierarchical design, cost modelling, grading, and people transition planning. Experience with agile contexts and Org Vue is desirable.
Strong appreciation of behavioural change techniques â leadership alignment, case for change, stakeholder management, sequencing, communication, engagement, impact assessment, and planning people transition. For technology implementation, userâadoption experience is valued.
Preferred candidates have capability across both Change and OD, or deep specialists in OD.
Understanding of the financial services environment and experience in consulting projects within the subâsectors listed above.
As a Senior Manager, experience in consulting at a recognised professional services or global consultancy firm, or inâhouse consulting, is required. Leadership of other consultants is expected.
Strong influence, communication and clientârelationship skills â comfortable with Câsuite or senior senior-level stakeholders, strong writing, PowerPoint, Excel, and working faceâtoâface and via Teams.
Collaborative mindset â ability to share knowledge, support colleagues and win together.
A strong sense of curiosity â motivated to research the client\âs business and inclined to keep up with industry trends and share insights.
