Major Projects Advisory (MPA) practice sits in Customer, Operations, and Infrastructure (CO&I). PACE is part of the MPA team â a multidisciplinary team of crossâsector experts in complex project and programme delivery. What will you be doing?
- Managing the delivery of clientâfacing work within specialist areas, ensuring new processes and tools are designed with a strong human / endâuser focus.
- Designing and mobilising major projects/programmes.
- Looking after the financial aspects of an engagement â keeping clients informed of costs and time incurred, raising invoices and recovering fees.
- Responsibility to follow internal processes to ensure compliance.
- Business development â identifying potential opportunities for new assignments and assisting with bids.
What will you need to do it?
- Experience within a Project Delivery function within major infrastructure programmes or a projectâbased role in a consulting firm.
- Strong experience in industry and willing to move into the consultancy world, or experience in projectâbased roles in a consulting firm after time in industry.
- Experience in development and delivery of major projects/programmes (consultant/advisor or industry/government).
- Inâdepth experience applying Project, Programme, Portfolio management (P3M) methodology â and a passion for the discipline.
- A foundation of excellent academics and good career progression to date.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills.
- An ability to build and maintain great relationships and a desire to network across the firm.
- Confident communication and presentation skills.
Skills we'd love to see / amazing extras:
- Experience using tools such as Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Oracle P6, Slack, Clarizen.
- Relevant professional certifications â e.g., APM ChPP/PMQ/PPQ; MoP; MSP; MoR.
- Expertise or sectoral knowledge of infrastructure asset management.
- Expertise in Project, Programme and Portfolio Controls.
- Experience of digital transformation and technology in infrastructure programmes, including AI applications.
- Experience in capital planning or capital portfolio management.
- Knowledge of process and valueâstream efficiency and optimisation.
- Organisational readiness and effectiveness experience.
