About This Team: Global Digital Workplace (GDW) is responsible for Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms across all KPMG member firms. We design, operate, and govern enterprise services including Teams, SharePoint, Viva, Exchange and automation frameworks supporting user lifecycle, compliance, and service enablement at global scale.
Role Summary: Engineering role focused on maintaining and enhancing global Microsoft 365 automation services, ensuring continuity, compliance, and scalable user lifecycle management for Microsoft Teams and wider collaboration platforms.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain M365 automation, scripting, and workflow services.
- Operate and support the Teams automation platform, resolve execution failures.
- Evaluate, assess and onboard Microsoft Teams/M365 service integrations and features.
- Research and trial new M365 features & emerging capabilities.
- Operationalize new capabilities into production-ready services.
Experience / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange, or Entra ID automation.
- Strong PowerShell scripting, C#, SQL, and Microsoft Graph API integration skills.
- Solid understanding of identity, security and governance including Teams policy management, policy packages, RBAC, conditional access and configuration control.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments (100k+ users ideal).
- Ability to work autonomously in a high-ownership operational role.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear documentation practices, and effective communication.
