Our Anaplan Practice is an area where we have built a strong track record and is of strategic importance to our growth. We are looking for an experienced Model Builder to join our team to design and deliver solutions that help our clients to achieve step changes in performance, productivity and profitability.
What will you be doing?
- Engagement delivery: Successful candidates are expected to own deliverables and/or manage small workstreams in client engagements, business development and practice development initiatives. They will be responsible for producing high quality outputs, on time to meet/exceed client expectations.
- People development: Monitoring and supporting team members and accelerating their development with a particular emphasis on coaching and skills transfer.
- Anaplan Development Expertise: Demonstrate application knowledge of Anaplan technology and use of best practice principles when executing development tasks. Additionally, there will be an expectation to support Anaplan GTM propositions and asset development.
- Business Development: Contributing to the establishment and development of both internal and external relationships and supporting the business development activity of senior members of the team (including shaping, developing, contributing to and presenting proposals/bids for future work).
What will you need to do it?
- Client Delivery: Experience of Anaplan development work in the context of major and complex transformation programmes/projects. Certified Anaplan Model Builder qualification and strong knowledge of the platform’s functionalities. Experience of Finance use cases in Anaplan (including Income Statement forecasting, cost allocations and workforce-cost planning) and the accompanying reporting packages. Troubleshoot problems and fixes for bugs identified across testing cycles/environments and Go-Live in an agile manner. Good knowledge of financial processes, including Integrated Business Planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. Good understanding of issues and challenges facing Finance functions, Finance business partnering and trends in Finance. Build positive and collaborative relationships with Client stakeholders. Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet project requirements. Good communicator with the ability to build strong and lasting internal and client relationships. Evidence of being an active listener, strong team player and willingness to develop new skills and capabilities.
- Business Development: Support Partners and Directors in driving business development and sales activities. Support our responses to Client requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Practice Development: Support activities that contribute to the growth of our strategic alliance with Anaplan. Support management with internal operational responsibilities for the team. Support the delivery of initiatives that will promote and grow our EPM practice internally and externally.
- People Development: Contribute to formal training, knowledge sharing, networking activities for the team. Take part in internal initiatives that seek to strengthen culture, job satisfaction and wellbeing within the team.
