You will be responsible for managing the tax relationship across a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a broad range of technical experience. The role will suit a Manager wanting to drive their tax career.
The team is diverse and collaborative, with individuals based across Bristol, Cardiff, Reading, and Southampton. We embraced hybrid and flexible working long before it became the norm!
What will you be doing?
- Providing corporate tax advice to a broad range of clients.
- Managing the successful delivery of technically excellent advice including tax structuring, compliance, governance, and legal structure optimisation.
- Liaising with specialists in other departments and overseas offices.
- Coaching and developing more junior members of the team.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Managing proposals for new work and delivering tender documents.
- Seeking out and pursuing opportunities with targets.
- Being a role model for KPMG's values.
What will you need to do it?
- ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with a strong track record in UK corporate tax.
- Ability to develop, coach and lead staff, as well as manage stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Well-developed analytical skills and a commercial approach.
- Pro-active in identifying and progressing business opportunities.
- Ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of projects.
- High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
- Dedication to continuously develop technical knowledge.
- Inquisitive with attention to detail.
