KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions is a growing Microsoft Dynamics Practice delivering world-class solutions in ERP, CRM, and e-Commerce. Our solutions focus on advisory and implementation services related to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products including CRM and ERP.
The Dynamics CE Solution Architect is a core team member of KPMG customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 centred solutions. The CE Solution Architect should have extensive experience across all phases of enterprise Dynamics CE projects. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, and working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused on Dynamics CE functionality, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft platform.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities.
- Lead, organise, manage, and document workshops, meetings, and requirements sessions with client representatives, project stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients.
- Gather and document functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstreams.
- Ensure pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as client engagements.
- Interface effectively with other members of the delivery team and the solution architect.
- Contribute to the wider CE practice by defining training needs within the team and coaching or mentoring other team members.
- Identify business/project risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality business and software solutions and services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards.
- Create high-quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation.
- Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including building demo and proof of concept solutions.
- Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable.
- Advise client and delivery team members of scope creep and use of change control processes.
- Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of the project.
- Communicate progress updates to relevant parties.
- Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific solutions.
- Lead people and help to grow them in their role.
- Performance management of junior members of the product team.
- Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
- Promote the values of our company.
- Represent KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience as a CRM Consultant with large-scale complex implementations.
- Deep knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365, including appropriate certification.
- Understanding of Azure and cloud technologies, .Net development, and PowerBI.
- Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Power Platforms Accelerators, industry templates, and add-ons.
- Willingness to develop knowledge of new functionality in Microsoft platforms.
- Knowledge of best practices for working with offshore teams.
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications are desirable.
- Preferably a University graduate with a relevant degree within a computing or business discipline.

- Extensive experience as a CRM Solution Architect leading enterprise implementation.
- Experience in a delivery-oriented IT environment using waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 in a Lead Design Consulting role.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning, and early live support.
- Business process mapping, modelling, and documentation knowledge.
- Minimum 10 plus years hands-on proven functional experience in Power Platforms configuration.
- Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of clients' needs and incorporate them into a solution.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of capabilities of D365 CE areas in Sales Management, Marketing, and Customer Service Management.
