AI Senior Consultant – Tax TechnologyBase Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) or Glasgow (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

The KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation team consists of Technology Consultants, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects & Engineers, Multi-disciplinary Engineering teams and IT Service delivery professionals. We work on a large portfolio of systems that improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal for our 2500+ tax & legal professionals who serve many thousands of clients.

Why Join the KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation team as a AI Senior Consultant, Manager?As part of KPMG\’s $5bn investment in technology over five years, you will play a leadership role in helping our clients and internal teams harness AI to better manage tax obligations and drive business value.

What will you be doing?As an AI Senior Consultant in Tax Technology you will oversee a portfolio of innovative projects, leading a team of business analysts and project delivery leads. You will work closely with clients to co‐create and implement AI‐driven solutions that address pressing tax challenges.

Develop and deliver AI presentations and demonstrations, including both standard offerings and custom proof of concepts, to prospects, clients, and partners.

Serve as a subject‐matter expert on AI applications in tax, advising clients on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.

Lead client workshops, assessments, and solution design sessions to tailor AI offerings to client needs.

Oversee the implementation of AI‐enabled tax solutions, ensuring high‐quality delivery and measurable value for clients.

Stay abreast of developments in AI, tax technology, and regulatory changes, translating insights into actionable strategies.

Champion the integration of AI technologies within the KPMG Tax & Legal function, collaborating with cross‐functional teams to identify, pilot, and scale AI solutions.

What will you need to do it?

A demonstrable in‐depth understanding of AI applications in a professional services environment.

Proven ability to lead technology adoption initiatives and manage complex projects for both internal and external clients.

Excellent client‐facing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in team leadership and talent development.

Passion for delivering an excellent service to clients.

Skills we\’d love to see / Amazing Extras

Whilst tax experience is not essential, an accounting or tax qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CTA or equivalent would be beneficial.

Experience in the end‐to‐end sales of technology solutions.
