The Learning Content team design and develop a huge range of engaging, inclusive learning solutions for a wide client base across all sectors. From on demand context setting animations, inclusive digital learning and eye-opening podcasts, to facilitated in-person and virtual classrooms and action-orientated peer working sessions, we know learning. To help us continue to grow, we are looking for a Learning Creative Development Manager to join us.
What will you be doing?
- Manage a multidisciplinary on-shore and off-shore development team, responsible for creating engaging deliverables and utilising great visual design to equip learners with the right skills and knowledge when they need it most.
- Lead the development workstream of our largest engagements, working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to drive quality, standards, and inclusive design.
- Manage and support lead developers as they deliver during the development phase of each project, from scoping, to ensuring deliverables are developed to the agreed standards and meet all legal requirements for accessibility.
- Take ownership of the visual identity of projects, helping to scope the solution.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers, Senior Instructional Designers and Learning Services leadership to scope the development of solutions.
- Works with the management team to build capability and capacity across the team.
- Contribute on proposals and bids from a development and design perspective utilising professional design experience and how it aligns with the wider Learning Services business strategy.
- Works with the broader business to drive industry engagement and promote KPMG as a learning business.
What will you need to do it?
- Extensive experience in the learning industry, with proven experience leading large and complex projects running simultaneously.
- Strong proficiencies in rapid authoring tools such as Evolve, Storyline and Captivate.
- Experienced multi-media designer with strong proficiency in motion graphics, video editing, audio post-production, publishing tools and graphic design.
- Experienced in all aspects of accessibility, from online builds to PDFs and document accessibility.
- Able to lead, organise, mentor, and manage others across different time zones.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills with good communication skills both verbal and written.
- A strong attention to detail, proficient in reviewing deliverables, and ability to provide constructive feedback to colleagues to ensure a high-quality product.
- Strong engagement management skills including managing risk with clients, working to scope, and contributing to costings and assumptions for upcoming projects.
- Ability to support a team across different time zones and cultures and create a strategy to build a cohesive team of on-shore and off-shore developers.
- Understand engagement management and how to drive efficiencies in our costs and development approach that aligns with our commercial models.
- Develop strong client relationships and can effectively bring SME expertise to support solutions on proposals and bids.
- Understand different sector requirements for our learning solutions and can tailor the solution to their needs.
- Ability to create and implement the standards, processes, and level of quality that all learning deliverables will adhere to.
- Has a comprehensive and deep technical understanding of accessible and inclusive design and can set the standard for how all learning deliverables will meet legal requirements.
- Drive innovation and provide insight to the wider team and to clients on the future of learning and design of digital learning.
- Supports the Developer Capability Lead by maintaining quality and standards and driving the team’s upskilling and capability development.

This position will largely be based from London.
