The KPMG Business Services function is a cornerstone of our UK business. Operating from 20 UK locations and sitting with KPMG Central Services, we do work that matters. Within Central Services, we are part of a community of experts across a wide range of critical activities who help grow, run, and protect KPMG in the UK.

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned internal client group managing and delivering an outstanding HR business service to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, including Capability, Coverage or Function Partners, Segment Heads, Head of Performance Operations (HoPO), Performance Leaders (PLs) and other senior clients as needed.
  • Develop understanding of the internal client group, their strategic people priorities, and their strategic people plan (SPP).
  • Deliver HR Calendar activities ensuring processes align with KPMG guidelines and the client group’s people plan.
  • Implement internal client specific projects to support KPMG's people strategy.
  • Act as an agent of change for initiatives, embedding transformation, anticipating issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Provide input to form the strategic people plan with knowledge and analysis of the internal client group.
  • Ensure HR policy and procedures are implemented consistently; lead/run specific calendar projects.
  • Work with ER Function to support resolution of complex/high-risk issues; provide coaching to leaders in effective people management.

Qualifications / What you will need to do it:

  • Strong HR knowledge (CIPD qualification or equivalent).
  • Project oriented with ability to create and follow detailed project plans.
  • Experience in a fast-moving, responsive HR team.
  • Collaborative skills and ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong delivery focus.

We are open to talent across the country but core Central Service hubs for this role are: Reading, Manchester, Watford, Glasgow, Edinburgh. With 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.
